About Us
Georg J. Efird began plumbing when he was fifteen years old, and is no stranger to the many other aspects of construction. George started his first (and the first in the area) green plumbing company, A2Z plumbing, with the help of his wife Miranda Wildman at twenty-nine. Both Georg and Miranda continually play an important role in the development of the green building community. Having worked hand in hand with many of the other green builders in this area from such a young age Georg’s experience, work ethic and jobsite leadership skills are invaluable to both our customers and company.
Georg is both a licensed plumber and an accredited green plumber.

Jake Klodt has always been inspired toward a greener future. After helping many businesses and establishments develop green solutions to their needs, rain water harvesting was just the next sensible step. Working alongside A2Z on the development and design of their green business, Jake has provided many valuable insights to the green building community.
Jake contributes greatly to the use and promotion of bio-fuels, waste oils, green products, and recycling practices in businesses in the Asheville area.
Jake is, to say the very least, a highly motivated recycler.
